About Us

ProMedica Memorial Hospital is a member of ProMedica, a mission-based, not-for-profit integrated healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. Located in Fremont, Ohio, Memorial Hospital has served the citizens of Sandusky County and the adjacent communities for more than 100 years. In fact, the hospital was built with funds raised by members of the community on land donated by the family of former United States President, Rutherford B. Hayes. Memorial Hospital is deeply invested in meeting the healthcare needs of the community and strongly believes in our commitment to excellence.
