About Us:

Northcoast Security was established in 2010 by Roger Kuns, former Marine who moved back to the area and purchased the business.  He has grown this business from a locksmith company to a full security service company that offers residential, commercial, industrial, and access controls solutions.  We have a small town feel with big city solutions.  Our customers range from Marathon Oil Company to your next door neighbor.

We are expanding our services and locations fast while staying on top of the best security and technology systems out there.  We offer simple solutions to customers that help them feel safe and secure so they can enjoy their busy lives. 

The Position:

The position is full-time, Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00.  We offer competitive pay, a retirement match, paid time off,  and opportunities to grow within our company.  

 Know or be willing to learn automotive, commercial, residential locksmithing and electronic security. We need someone to install, repair and maintain a variety of mechanical/electrical locking devices, door hardware, exit devices and closures on all types of entryways. You will duplicate keys, rekey cores, safe entry/repair, security system installation, and master keying schedule knowledge. 

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Great customer service skills, professionalism and be courteous

• Ability to follow steps, trouble-shoot and use creativity to solve problems 

• Basic understanding of electrical systems

• Willingness to learn and an outstanding attendance record

• Be able to work independently or with a group

• Excellent driving record, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with their hands 

• Dependability, integrity and honesty are a must!

This position requires work to be done in all weather conditions, climbing ladders, the use of aerial lifts, standing for long periods of time, kneeling, bending and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable with heights, confined spaces and getting dirty. Tools of the job will consist of, but not limited to, key cutting machines, power tools, hand tools, computers and volt meters.
