The Tai Chi for Arthritis Program is based on Sun style which is the most recent of the four major styles. Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. The movements are slow and gentle, and the degree of exertion can be easily adjusted, making it suitable for people of all levels of ability. The health benefits of Tai Chi include: balance, increased flexibility and muscle strength, better body posture, greater fitness, and integration of body, mind and spirit, thus significantly reducing the rate of falls.
