Getting Ready for Grants
In this session, Zach Huber will discuss what it means to be grants-ready. Find out about the pieces your organization needs to have in place before seeking grant funding and learn about the parts of a grants proposal, how to craft a grant budget, and how to approach a potential funder.
Zach Huber is a business specialist librarian in the Small Business and Nonprofit Department for the Toledo Lucas County Public Library system. Prior to joining the Library in 2019, Zach worked in the nonprofit sector for 6 years at both large and small nonprofit organizations in the areas of marketing and fundraising including both grant-seeking and grant administration. He received is Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism from Ohio University in 2013 and his Master’s of Library and Information Science for Kent State University in 2016.
